Will this be my last peaceful Christmas??
I think it may be, mind you Christmas is never very peaceful for us anyway because we end up running here there and everywhere!
Ended up at the hospital yesterday, Baby bump decided to give me a fright, I started getting shooting pains and baby slowed up on the movements, something just didn't feel right. So I called my midwife and she told me to go to the hospital. There they lay me on a bed and checked the heart beat which was fine, I then had to wait an hour or so for a scan. In this hour baby woke up and started kicking like mad, so I felt a right fool when I went for the scan and there it was waving away at us!!! What a relief though. The midwife at the hospital was really nice she said we'd done the right thing, and we were not to feel silly about going in. She did say however, that I need to slow down a bit and take things easier, so I intend to do so. I'm going to chill out over christmas and do very little, after christmas I'm going to advertise for my replacement at work, interview the candidates and then train them. So hopefully my last four weeks at work (February) should be just watching over the new person doing my job. Might not sound relaxing, but if you did my job you'd realise it is!!!
I've got another driving test in between christmas and new year, so fingers crossed for that. We aren't doing anything for new year this year. My family never celebrate it and I don't feel like going anywhere really.
So happy christmas, and I'll speak to you again soon!!
